A B2C app that crowd sources market data throughout Nigeria across different categories. Through this app, a smartphone user can simply report data points such as price of bread and fuel in their locality, the quality of their telecom network on that day and occasionally answer surveys as well. They earn points for each activity that can be exchanged for airtime.
A consulting firm wanted to understand and model users’ share of wallet demographically and needed a program where they could collect relevant data so that their clients and other business leaders could use the model to make business decisions.
We developed a mobile app that would allow users to voluntarily input data points across different categories. The app was designed to have different sections where Users could report their knowledge of the market and included groceries, fuel, alcohol, food, transport as well as telecom spend. Another section was meant exclusively to ask for User’s opinions on various topics in a survey fashion. An activity screen showed how they were earning points and what they had exchanged for airtime.
I was also involved with the naming, logo and design theme for this app.
